What is Virtual Gastric Band (VGB) Program
The Virtual Gastric Band program is not a diet. We all know that diets only work in the short term and that once the diet is stopped, any weight that was lost whilst on the diet quickly returns.
Sheila Granger’s Virtual Gastric Band Program uses hypnosis to condition the sub-conscious mind into believing that a band has been placed around the top portion of the stomach in order to create a small stomach pouch thus reducing the amount of food that one needs to eat in order to feel satisfied. And because it’s not a diet, you won’t feel deprived, miserable or hungry, which are the issues that usually cause diets to fail.
How does it work?
The hypnotherapy process retrains the mind to become satisfied with much smaller food portion sizes, so there is no need for more food. It changes the way you think about food making it easier to achieve your ideal body weight. The Virtual Gastric Band is for people who are aware they overeat. The Virtual Gastric Band is available at a fraction of the cost of real surgery and has comparable results. It is very safe, has no side effects, does not involve the use of drugs, is completely painless and there is no need to take time off from work in order to recover.
What does the program involve?
The Virtual Gastric Band program involves 6 sessions - the first 3 sessions are one week apart and sessions 4 to 6 are held fortnightly.
In the first session we ask you to record your starting weight and take measurements so that we have a starting point. Our program is not just about weight, it is about shape and size, hence the reason we also focus on measurements. We go through the rules of the program with you, and you receive the first of two support Mp3 tracks. We then insert The Virtual Gastric Band hypnotically in the first session, this reduces the portion, thereby leading to the weight loss.
In the second session we record your weight loss for the week and we ensure that you have been correctly following the rules of the program without any problems. We hypnotically reinforce what was achieved in the first session and address any issues that need to be addressed.
In the third session we once again check to ensure that some more weight loss has been achieved and we do some release work hypnotically, so if you are having any issues with certain foods or habits we can address those issues with the release work that we do hypnotically.
Session 4-6: You will have formed a good solid base and the rules of the program will become habitual to you. We check in on your weight loss and measurements again so that we can see not only how many kilo’s you have lost, but also how many centimetres you have lost. At this point you receive your second support Mp3 track. You will be amazed at how easy it is to be satisfied with smaller volumes of food. You continue losing the weight on your own with the tools you have gained over the sessions.
The sessions are held on a one to one basis.
They are not group sessions.
The first session runs for approximately two hours and sessions 2–6 run for approximately 60 minutes each.
